RESTAURANT MONTH PROMOTION JANUARY 2, 2015

San Luis Obispo County, CA— Visit San Luis Obispo (SLO) County launches its eighth annual Restaurant Month promotion January 2, 2015 with over 40 restaurants participating countywide. New in 2015, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo Wineries will offer “Go Local Wine Deals” for locals venturing out to winery tasting rooms. California travelers spent $29.6 billion on food and beverages, making the culinary category the largest spending segment of 29% of all visitor spending over the past year*. Visitors and locals alike can experience the region’s locally inspired cuisine throughout January as participating restaurants offer various special menus and promotions. San Luis Obispo County Restaurant Month is an exciting opportunity to bring California Cuisine to life in area communities of Arroyo Grande, Avila Beach, Cambria, Cayucos, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo. “San Luis Obispo County Restaurant Month is another way to celebrate the great food created by the region’s most talented chefs. Here’s how it works: Participating restaurants will offer various specials throughout the month of January. Most of these specials include prix-fixe menus, featuring 2-4 courses at a range of $30-$45 per person (offers and times available vary per restaurant, for more information visit the SLO County Restaurant Month website). Menus may be paired with specially selected wines from Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine country for an additional charge.
