(SAN LUIS OBISPO) The San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre is thrilled to announce our 2018-2019 Season, our second season as a nonprofit, professional theatre company, the only such company in San Luis Obispo County. Season Tickets are now on sale for a diverse and exciting season of six Mainstage Showssix Ubu’s Other Shoe Staged Readingstwo Academy of Creative Theatre Children and Family Shows, the annual Holiday Show, a late-night holiday comedy, and a special Gala musical production of Million Dollar Quartet, running February 8-March 10, 2019.  SLO REPwill stage all 17 of these shows at their 97 seat theatre at 888 Morro Street in downtown San Luis Obispo. All Mainstage Season shows run Wednesdays through Sundays at 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm.  SLO REP will stage 217 performances, five days a week (Wednesday-Sunday) between July 13, 2018 and July 1, 2019. DESCRIPTION:   SLO REP presents ART, the Tony Award winning comedy by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, that focuses on the meaning of art (in the form of a solid white painting) as well as the joys, perils and meaning of friendship. ART runs Sep 28-Oct. 14, Wednesdays‒Sundays at 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm.

DESCRIPTION:   SLO REP presents Million Dollar Quartet, a blockbuster rock ‘n roll musical set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartett runs Feb. 8-Mar. 10, Wednesdays‒Sundays at 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm.
