Atascadero, California presents a good, old-fashioned family day at the lake on July 4th, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The tentative schedule of activities for the day is as follows:

• Bounce Houses
• Pony Rides
• Charles Paddock Zoo (Free admission, donation requested)

11:00 a.m. 
• Picnic Games
• Wading Pool
• Kiwanis Lunch

1:00 p.m.
• Morro Bay Mudskippers

4:00 p.m. 
• Dinner
• Free Kids Move at Galaxy Theatre

4:30 p.m.
• Martin-Paris Band

• Event ends

Admission is free. There will be nominal charges for bounce houses, pony rides, meals and vendor items.
The Central Coast Zoological Society will co-sponsor the event and handle all donations. The Society is the support organization for the Charles Paddock Zoo. Event organizers hope to collect several thousand dollars in donations to help cover the costs of staging the event. Donations will be tax-deductible.
