Enter the "Paso Glow Ticket Contest" To Win Two Tickets to Paso Glow and Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast

PASO ROBLES, CA (JULY 28, 2011) - On Saturday, October 1, Paso Robles' charming downtown city park will be transformed into a magical "fire and ice" extravaganza as guests gather under twinkling stars, flame-shaped towers and illuminated globes for "Paso Glow: A Culinary Experience." Special dinner guests include Celebrity Chef Cat Cora, Sunset's Editor Katie Tamony and Wine Editor Sara Schneider, as well as gifted local chefs, winemakers and farmers. Paso Glow is one of many culinary experiences taking place during "Sunset SAVOR The Central Coast," a four day food and wine event held September 29 - October 2 throughout San Luis Obispo County.

Former Playboy Mansion Chef de Cuisine and current Paso Robles Chef, Jeffrey Scott, in partnership with Thomas Hill Organics, Harris Ranch Beef and Central Coast Seafood, will create a five-course dinner showcasing the area's rich agricultural bounty. Passed appetizers will be provided by Executive Chef Kevin Hyland of the Paso Robles Inn and local cheeses by Owner Danika Reed of Vivant Fine Cheese. A select Paso Robles winemaker will host each guest table, pairing each course with their delectable wines.

Beginning August 4 at 9 a.m. PST, The Travel Paso Robles Alliance (TPRA) will launch the "Paso Glow Ticket Contest," a Facebook sweepstakes where one randomly drawn winner will receive two tickets to Paso Glow, two tickets to Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast's main event at the Santa Margarita Ranch on October 1 and 2, plus a complimentary two night stay for two people at a premier Paso Robles lodging property; a prize valued at $1,050. In addition, a runner-up will be awarded two tickets to Sunset SAVOR the Central Coast's main event on both days; a prize valued at $300.

To enter the sweepstakes, consumers are asked to "like" Travel Paso's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TravelPaso. Then, click on the Travel Paso "Sweepstakes" tab and follow the sign-up process. The sweepstakes closes on Thursday, August 25 at 11:59 p.m. PST. The TPRA will announce the winner on Friday, August 26 at 12 p.m. PST via Travel Paso's Twitter www.twitter.com/travelpaso and Facebook www.facebook.com/TravelPaso accounts and on www.travelpaso.com.

Accommodations are valid on September 30 and October 1, 2011 only. The winner will be responsible for all transportation and any additional accommodations. Entrants must be at least 21 years of age; limited to one entry per person.
