Oysters & the Wines that LOVE them!!

For episode 2 of Grape Encounters, David Wilson starts out the episode on a skiff in the middle of beautiful Morro Bay with founder of the Morro Bay Oyster Company, Neal Maloney. Out on the ocean, they check out the 100 acres oyster farm with just shy of one million oysters beneath them. The two then discuss marvelous wine pairings with oysters, great sauce combinations, pearls, and other fun oyster facts. Dockside, Neal then teaches David and listeners how shuck an oyster.

Then Mark Tognazzini, of Tognazzini's Dockside Restaurant & Fish Market, shares great oyster preparations, great wines, and teases you with some descriptive taste testers. David Hance from Clayhouse Winery joins in with some award winning oyster and wine pairings, and fully convinces us that oysters can't go without the perfect glass of wine whether it's oyster rockafeller, BBQ oysters, or in the raw! Plus, Gadget Guru then talks about an amazing new way to get your Sauvignon Blanc chilled to perfection.
