I Love Where I Live: Don't Miss the 66th Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival

Oct. 19-21, 2012!

Let me say that you DO NOT need to enjoy clams to have a great time at Pismo's Clam Festival. Pismo Beach is the ultimate beach town with long sandy beaches, a wonderful old pier and tons of tiny beach shops and eateries crammed around the beachfront.

The Clam Fest jolts the fun up a notch by adding three full days of food, entertainment, local wines & beer as well as the fabled clam chowder cook-off to the agenda.  The fun starts Friday evening with their "Wine Walk" from 5pm - 7:30pm continuing on Saturday with surfing, a parade, and the chowder cook-off. Come back Sunday for the clam dig and more fun! All along there's plenty of food, drink and music.

You can purchase a VIP Pass at http://www.pismochamber.com/ and the chamber office 805 773-4382 that includes drink tickets, entry to the wine walk and chowder cook-off for $25 p/person.
