I Love Where I Live: Experience Greece on the Central Coast!

I've recently become acquainted with the folks from St. Andrew the Apostle Greek Orthodox Church; in addition to being really great people, I've learned they throw some of the best parties on the Central Coast! Remember the Greek Festival earlier in the year at Mission Plaza - lots of great food, Greek music and dancing? Well, that was their event and it filled our day with wonderful food and memories.

This Saturday, October 6th from 5pm - 11pm offers up another opportunity to experience the wonderful culture and foods of Greece. "An Evening in Greece" will be held at the South County Regional Center in Arroyo Grande.  You'll be transported back to a Greek village taverna as you enjoy the authentic Greek appetizers, an elegant lamb dinner, desserts and bar all while enjoying the dinner dance and floor show provided by "Mythos" the West Coast's leading Greek band.

The Greeks are a friendly lot, so prepare yourself for a wonderful evening of dancing (yes - YOU!), lively entertainment, and that oh-so-delicious food this group is known for. This is a fundraiser ($75p/p), so know that your evening goes to causes beyond your own good times; the church supports many charitable groups in San Luis Obispo such as the Prado Day Center and the SLO Food Bank.
