The annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival is your classic Family Fun event, with something for everybody. Everybody will love the setting: down on the "Embarcadero" / waterfront. Great views of Morro Rock and local wildlife, including pelicans, harbor seals and sea otters.

Louie Ortega - Morro Bay Harbor Festival

There are other fun things for kids to do: rides, bounce house, interesting ocean science displays aimed at kids and of course food vendors offering ice cream, hot dogs and more.

Mom and Dad will enjoy the eclectic collection of vendors, live music by top local groups, BBQ food and a large selection of local wineries pouring tastes of their wines.

Check out a video of a recent Harbor Festival, with local legend Louie Ortega (picurted above) performing one of his "Tex-Mex" signature tunes - "Hey Baby - Que Pasa?"

Housekeeping details: Wear comfortable shoes: you will probably do a lot of walking. You should try to park downtown (free), and take one of the shuttles to the Festival. Weather may get cool, so come prepared.
