The guide is the gateway for tourists seeking more information about the region's unique assets. Published yearly, the colorful magazine-style travel planner comes in the form of a lifestyle format, which includes in-depth features on a number of county attractions.

Magazine highlights include a section featuring city profiles on Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Avila Beach, Grover Beach, Los Osos, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo.

The Guide features "Three Perfect Days," which offers visitors a helpful itinerary for their next visit to San Luis Obispo County. The articles target the reasons why people visit the county -from outdoor attractions such as beaches, biking and wildlife, to regional or cultural events. The Guide also includes a special section titled "Profiles - Faces of San Luis Obispo County," a feature that highlights authentic resident profiles. The addition of personal profiles gave us the opportunity to showcase unique people of the area, their story and why they choose to live in San Luis Obispo County. In addition, the guide includes a section on wine country, along with a map listing every winery in the county; coming attractions; cultural calendar; guides for lodging, restaurants and golf courses.

Forty thousand guides were printed and will be sent to potential visitors, leisure and business travelers, meeting planners, travel agents, tour operators and media throughout the country.
