Paso Robles "Taste of Downtown" Offers
A Saturday of Fine Cuisine, Music & Art
On Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, the 14th Annual Taste of Downtown promises a superb culinary and artistic experience in historic downtown Paso Robles.
With the purchase of the $25 Taste of Downtown ticket pass, participants will sample the creations of over 43 local restaurants, a brewery, wineries, ice cream and coffee houses.
Downtown Paso Robles also will host the 10th Annual Arte de Tiza on Saturday, Sept. 17th. The chalk-art celebration will offer a visual feast of chalk murals created by area artists on the sidewalk of Pine Street between 11th and 12th streets. Artwork will be in progress beginning at 8 a.m. the morning of the Taste.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., PASS holders will stroll from eatery to eatery, sampling the cuisine of over 48 fine dining establishments, wineries, and brewery, some so new that townspeople may not have discovered them yet. Participating eateries and wine tasting for wineries located outside the downtown core will offer their creations in the park.
The Taste of Downtown PASSES are available for only $25. Funds will benefit the Paso Robles Main Street Association free holiday promotions events. Tastes PASSES may be purchased at the Main Street office, located at 835 12th St. (Suite D, in the Norma's Way alley), or by mail after contacting the association (VISA/MC/Discover Cards accepted).
