In the summer of 2013, acts as diverse as Tony Bennett, ZZ Top, and A Prairie Home Companion were applauded by audiences attending the inaugural season of the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles. This picturesque 3,300-seat outdoor venue offers everything from luxury boxes to lawn seating, and the facility is also available for private events.

Simone Michel, director of customer relations and marketing for Vina Robles, noted that with the county's own population and several other mid-sized urban areas within a two-hour radius, the new amphitheatre provides an easy stopover with a sizable crowd base for big name artists traveling between gigs in Northern and Southern California. Add to that the existing VIP hospitality infrastructure already in place at Vina Robles, and you've got a world class venue that further enhances the cachet of San Luis Obispo County.

Vina Robles serves their own award-winning wines at the amphitheatre, and a locally crafted beer is on tap as well. As the project evolves, even more local food products will be showcased, including housemade corndogs and wood-fired pizzas, to sandwiches made with local sausage.
