Sunset's Second Annual Destination Food & Wine Event will Celebrate the Beauty and Bounty of California's Central Coast September 29-October 2, 2011

Savor the Central Coast is an extraordinary food and wine event that will be held throughout San Luis Obispo County September 29 - October 2, 2011. San Luis Obispo was recently named "America's Happiest City" by Oprah, giving attendees another terrific reason to come explore this beautiful and unique location.

For the second year in a row, Sunset has partnered with the San Luis Obispo County Visitors & Conference Bureau (SLOCVCB) on the creation of a world-class food and wine event that caters to aficionados in search of the hottest culinary and wine trends from across California and the entire West Coast. From the historic 13,000 acre Santa Margarita Ranch to charming seaside towns, inland villages, and bucolic Central Coast wine country, Savor will showcase San Luis Obispo County's scenic beauty, growing wine region and gourmet cuisine.

In its first year, Savor the Central Coast attracted over 7,200 attendees, who enjoyed richly?layered and authentic experiences, featuring 150+ regional vintners, acclaimed master chefs, the region's best restaurants, and interactive seminars with Sunset's expert editors.
