Each year, the Central Coast plays host to the food and wine event in the west–Sunset Savor the Central Coast. And this year’s event promises to be bigger–and better–than ever!

Sunset Savor the Central Coast is a 4-day festival September 26-29th that showcases the best food, wine, people and places that San Luis Obispo County has to offer. It’s also a chance to interact with Sunset editors.

The event kicks off with two days of Adventure Tours, where you can plant your own grape vine in Cambria, golf seaside in Avila Beach, explore unusual crops in Morro Bay or lasso the wild west at the Madonna Inn.

The adventures continue into the evening hours at some of the most breathtaking spots on the Central Coast, like Hearst Castle, Pismo Beach and Vina Robles.

And that’s only the beginning! The two-day Main Event at Santa Margarita Ranch features seminars on everything from winemaking to travel and adventure tours, as well as live cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs Michael Voltaggio and Nathan Lyon. Festivalgoers can also enjoy tastings from dozens of Central Coast restaurants and wineries.
