Tablas Creek Vineyard receives #1 Spot on the Daily Meal's List of America's 101 Best Wineries
Congratulations to Tablas Creek Vineyard for ranking at the very top of the Daily Meal's 2015 list of the 101 Best Wineries in America! A panel of experts (sommeliers, wine writers, chefs and restaurateurs, along with wine-savvy editors at the Daily Meal) nominated wineries throughout the United States that met a certain criteria, such as the following:
- personal tasting notes of recent vintages, as well as leading wine publications
- recent awards from prestigious competitions
- overall place of the winery in the American wine scene
- quality to price ratio
Tablas Creek Vineyard, located off Adelaida Road in Paso Robles, is "a leader in the use of Rhône varietals in the Paso Robles region, a leader in the fight for approval of 11 sub-districts in the area, and a leader in advancing sustainable and biodynamic vineyard practices not just in its own region but throughout California, this 25-year-old Paso Robles property — owned by noted wine importer Robert Haas and the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel (Rhône Valley royalty) — is as good as it gets."
