The City of Atascadero is delighted to present our annual Light Up the Downtown Holiday Celebration to be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Sunken Gardens, Downtown Atascadero.

Beginning at 5:00 pm, you can sip and shop with the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce’s ever-popular Art, Wine & Brew Tour! The “Fairweather Four” Barbershop Quartet will be strolling through the downtown and serenading shoppers and families to get everyone in the holiday spirit. At 6 pm, gather in the Sunken Gardens area in front of Historic City Hall as our City officials and the community counts down to the lighting of our beautiful building. Soon after the lights come on, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving via an antique Model-A fire truck to the tune of “Here Comes Santa Claus.” You will then be invited to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the North Pole entrance located at the back of City Hall that faces Atascadero Middle School.

Entertainment includes caroling from the Atascadero High School Show Choir along with the Atascadero Community Band, followed by Medina Light Show Designs playing holiday favorites! The fun continues with complementary tours of City Hall with three scheduled tours at 5 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm by our Atascadero Historical Society docents.

Art & Wine Tour tickets are available for purchase in front of Historic City Hall and at Colony Market & Deli. Tickets include a commemorative wine glass and wristband that entitles you to enjoy a variety of merchants serving wine throughout the downtown. A great way to enjoy shopping and strolling the downtown along with enjoying the festivities of the season! For ticket information, go to OR Call (805) 466-2044.
