In collaboration with Hotel San Luis Obispo’s Michelin-mentioned Ox+Anchor, enjoy a special dinner curated by Chef Ryan Fancher in honor of renowned culinary inspiration, Julia Child.

To celebrate the new Julia Child documentary, JULIA (2021 Toronto International Film Festival), playing at the Palm Theatre starting November 24th, the SLO International Film Festival has partnered with Hotel San Luis Obispo’s Chef, Ryan Fancher, to offer an exclusive three-course menu inspired by the culinary queen. An ongoing and flexible event, this menu will be available over the two week run of the film at the Palm Theater. See the film at any screening time, and then head next door to treat yourself to dinner either before or after!
Priced at $65 per person, with $10 from each meal being donated by Hotel San Luis Obispo to the San Luis Obispo Film Festival, The Julia Child Menu at Ox + Anchor does not include a ticket to the film.

Tickets to see JULIA will need to be purchased at the Palm Theater Box Office on the evening of the screening, and dinner reservations must be made at Ox + Anchor. Because proof of a film ticket is not required to enjoy the Julia Child Menu, you can come back for multiple meals to try all of the different selections!
This food and film experience will be available November 26-28 and December 1-5. Showtimes for the documentary are at 1:30pm (Friday, Saturday & Sundays) 4:15pm and 7:00pm. Suggested dinner reservation times are 6:15pm or later for a 4:15pm showtime, or 5:00pm for a 7:00pm showtime. Guests can book their dinner reservation via this link.

Please note that:
* Ox + Anchor is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s.
* We are not selling tickets to the film screening in advance. All ticket sales directly benefit the Palm Theatre.
* Face masks are required at the theater regardless of vaccination status.
* Please specify Julia Child menu in the notes of the reservation at Ox and Anchor
