The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art will be hosting Visions of Vietnam: A Photographic Journey. This exhibition follows the adventures of four photographers, Cheryl Strahl, Peggy Jansson, Sylvia Snachez, and Ronnie Goyette, across Vietnam.
Each artist found different sources of inspiration from the country. Some were drawn to Vietnam for the landscape and scenery, while others were curious about the people and culture. Their photos capture the vibrancy of the lifestyle and scenery around the country. From the brilliant traditional Vietnamese clothing, to the lush forests, these photographers have opened a lens to Vietnam for Central Coast viewers to explore.
There will be an opening reception and opportunity to meet the photographers on Friday, December 6, from 6-9 PM in conjunction with Art After Dark. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
