This four bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home has the finest in comfortable living and stylish California west decor. Every comfort of home, including gourmet chef’s kitchen, flat screen TV, and a dining room perfect for entertaining! Whether coming to relax in comfort or visit world class wineries, relish true, stylish country living in a warm and comfortable setting. Bedrooms include two rooms with king beds (including master bedroom) and two rooms with queen beds. Perfect Venue for wedding across the street
Our stay at the Solitude was so perfect. The house is beautiful, and you can tell they take a little extra care by the decor. We had a family of 8 (all adults) each room was decorated very simply but enough. The beds were very comfortable. The little things like having pods to do laundry, salt & pepper, cream, and yes even coffee pods for the Keurig, or ground coffee if you wanted to make a pot. The showers all had Shampoo/Conditioner - we did not use it, but it is a nice touch. We did not spend a lot of time outside as we were out most of the day, but we did get to see the sunrise, and boy it was beautiful. The wedding venue across the street made it a quick trip. We planned to stay F-M. On Thursday we called and we were able to get in a day early. This was huge! The gal in the office (Cindy?) was so super sweet and kept in touch with us that morning to make this possible. If you are looking for a nice quiet place this would be the spot. Beautiful Solitude in Wine Country
The house was well appointed for our group of 6 and we loved having it to come home to relax and have dinner after a day of wine tasting and shopping. Solitude is a beautiful, private, quiet property and there weren’t any amenities that were lacking as we had everything we could have needed. Great house... the floor plan is excellent in that it does not stack bedrooms above one another so upstairs noise is minimal. Good thing if kids are involved :-) Master shower leaks water underneath the door (need weatherstripping). Master bath window above sinks leaks rain. Would definitely rent it again. No-Brainer Place to Stay for Weddings in the Area
Party attended a wedding at Fallen Oaks Estate across the road and the convenience of the location cannot be understated. Place was easy to find and was a quick 10-15 minute drive to town/freeway as needed. Each room was huge, with tons of space and enough closet room for multiple days of travel. Everything was found clean and in working order. We followed directions for the A/C unit (as it was a particular warm weekend of highs up to 95 degrees), but we still found it a bit warm throughout the house. Note that the lights inside aren't too bright, but to get the full extent of how bright this place can get, you'll have to open the shudders to let all the natural light in. Overall, nothing to complain about, and it served as a suitable home away from home for the weekend. - Gabriel A., Dallas, TX

We chose this rental because it was spacious and is right next door to the wedding venue where our daughter got married. It was perfect for our group and everyone agreed they would love to return. There is a beautiful view from every room, beds are comfortable, plenty of seating, great kitchen, great outdoor spaces, overall very relaxing. The only things that needed attention were the kitchen faucet and shower fixtures weren’t working optimally. I've stayed at this location 2 times now over the past 3 years. Its an amazing property but its starting to show its age. fire place didnt work, master bedroom sink was clogged, kitchen utensils were old and some weren't functional, kitchen stove didnt work and made it hard to cook meals. Very good.
House has a few issues. Far garage door would not open correctly and only one remote. Kitchen faucet could not change spray type. Upstairs large bedroom inside door trim loose. Landscape lighting did not come on at nights. Kitchen door to garage no way to lock and un-lock when entering thru garage. Landscape starting to need some TLC. Trees in drive way need pruning back as not to hit cars. Some plantation shutters need minor maintenance. Great Home on a Winery
I rented this home with a group of friends for the weekend, and it was the perfect get-away. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes, etc., the bedrooms were comfortable, there were plenty of towels; everything we needed was there (even a hairdryer!). The setting is absolutely beautiful and felt very private, and it was also just a short drive to town for drinks or the grocery store. Finally, when the grill ran out of propane, we called the management company and someone was there to replace it within 10 minutes. Setting up the rental was seamless. Staff was quick to respond and courteous in responding. The house was clean and had enough linen, towels and pillows for all 8 of us. Kitchen was spacious and had adequate dishes and utensils and appliances. On the down side the wood burning fireplace had problems, the BBQ grill was not clean and the house had an infestation of insects that seemed to live in the walls and under the carpet. There were a ton of dead bugs when we checked in. I should have called at that point but we were too excited to begin our stay so we vacuumed them up and thought we were done with it. Myself and 7 of my closest girlfriends celebrated my birthday at the house over a weekend. The house was beautiful and perfect for 8 people. The rooms were very comfortable. We loved cooking in the kitchen and anything you could possibly ever need, they had. We loved sitting outside at the large table enjoying the amazing scenery. Close to town but far enough away to enjoy the sereneness. Would definitely consider staying again. This was just the perfect setting for our annual family wine tour vacation. The house itself is beautiful and the view, surrounded by vineyards, was amazing. The house was great, situated in a convenient location for all the wineries we planned to visit and not far from restaurants or town. It was quiet, nestled in the beautiful vineyard. Hacienda solitude
I chose this place due to it being out in the countryside surrounded by vineyards. It was very peaceful and quiet (except the Wednesday morning gardener). Driving around Paso to get to various wineries was most enjoyable and easy. It was just 10 minutes or so to the grocery stores. The house has a wonderful layout with a large dinning/living room space The description and pictures captured the home well. We were able to park our two vehicles in the garage which was a plus during the rainy weather. I was disappointed the fireplace did not work. I love the feel of a fireplace in rainy weather. The upper level tended to get much warmer than the lower level so we turned off the heat to cool it down. The beautiful views and location made up for that inconvenience. We cooked all our meals at the house and only went out once for lunch. The kitchen was well equipped, huge refrigerator, but I was disappointed in the quality of the pans and knives. The Teflon is worn and knives difficult to sharpen. We loved the large dinning room table - it was perfect for our 3 foot puzzle. We did not utilize the outdoor patio, but I can only imagine how gorgeous that would be in summer with the vineyards full of grapes waiting to be picked, watching the sun set with a glass of wine in hand. All in all a wonderful place to stay and we would return and do it again. - Martha F., Carmichael, CA

Pre wedding visit
The house is great and is a perfect location for our daughter’s upcoming wedding. Staying at Solitude 2 was a fabulous experience! We enjoyed being able to walk around the vineyard, have a glass of wine on both the front and pack patios, as well as cook a meal for 12 in the gourmet kitchen.
