***Parking info: there is a small parking lot at the building with no designated parking, as well as a large public lot across the street and street parking. The downtown paid parking program is currently suspended and downtown parking is unlimited and free.

We stayed six nights for some remote work, wine tasting/buying and exploration of Paso. Place was very clean and functional. It had everything - 2 coffee makers, toaster, good sized frig, dishwasher, plates, bowls, coffee cups, etc. You can't' beat the location! Right off the square! Walk to everything! The drawback is you're right in town, therefore you are right above all typical city morning noises - trash trucks, street sweepers, delivery trucks - bright and early - 6:30 - 7:00 AM. Second time this year that my wife and I stayed at this property. (Last time was January 2023). Obviously, we liked it last time, so we booked it again. Great place and location. Parking right behind the unit. Right on the downtown park with the ability to walk to restaurants, shops etc. Very clean and well stocked and perfect for 2 people. This is probably our 7 or time staying here. It feels like home! Everything was cleaned and like the new decor. It is perfect for a couple. The only complaint we had was with the televisions, hard to operate, find the regular spectrum TV channels. In the midst of watching g the Dodger playoffs, the picture would cut out and it seemed like the Internet was not strong enough? Third Time was Still Charming
We have stayed at this place on our previous two visits to Paso as well. It is VERY centrally located and has one of the most comfortable beds ever!
It didn't seem QUITE as well equipped this time as it had in the past. There had been coffee and ice cube trays in the past, but neither of those were there. Perhaps it was because of COVID? Close to Downtown, Enjoyable and Comfortable
Overall the property was good for our stay. We loved that it was super close to downtown and were able to find parking throughout the day/evening. Inside it had all the necessities we were needing during our stay - from the microwave to the refrigerator to the TV. The place was also a good size for us two. Only downside was on Saturday night you could hear people out late so it woke us up (the windows seemed a bit light to control that noise). Would we stay there again? The heart of Paso Robles
The location could not be more perfect. You are in the heart of Paso Robles, you can walk to everything, restaurants, wine tasting, the central park, etc. There's no need to get in the car unless you go to some of the outside attractions, wineries, the Sensoria light fields, etc. As other reviewers have noted, because you're located in downtown, there's a certain noise level that comes with it, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. In the early mornings, you can hear garbage trucks, and restaurants and live music go late into the night. But even with that in mind, the benefits of this spot by far outweigh the downsides. This property is the perfect location to enjoy Paso Robles. It was very clean and the staff was helpful when we called. A couple of minor things-nice feature to have a safe in the closet, although it didn't work, and on further inspection there were no batteries in the door. California Getaway
The downtown apartment was an excellent location to enjoy Paso Robles! Being close to morning coffee, shopping and the many awesome restaurants was just perfect! Also enjoyed our evening stroll around the park. Being in downtown also left us central to all the wineries we visited being no more than 15 minutes from any of them and did we find some great ones! All the amenities of the upstairs apartment were so nice and it was so easy to get back to each day for a rest or more coffee!! Only complaint we had was the downstairs restaurant (which is phenomenal by the way) stores their wine right underneath the bedroom and as they enter to retrieve bottles the door slams on the way in and then about a minute later on the way out which was annoying each night so I would take along a noisemaker to offset the noise downstairs. We had dinner at the restaurant and I almost asked the nice lady if they could install an auto close arm to soften the closing as a simple fix? Terrific little rental, great location
My wife, our daughter and I spent three nights here over the holidays. This unit is compact but in excellent condition and had everything we needed. The location is unbeatable. Plenty of free parking behind the unit too.
We did have a few glitches upon arrival. Our materials identified the rental as Unit B. When we arrived, there was no unit B. We tried the door code at Unit H, which appeared to be our rental from the photo. The door code didn't work. So we spent the first part of our stay looking around in the darkness, in confusion. When we phoned, we were only then given the correct unit number and the correct door code. I suggest phoning before arrival to confirm the rental's exact location and door code. When we arrived, the fold-out sofa had not been made up. We were told to make it up ourselves, which was difficult because the sofa bed does not unfold easily. Then there was only a single thin blanket to go with the sheets, which did not keep our daughter warm. We gave her the bedspread off of our bed, which sufficed.
Thereafter, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The rental is in excellent condition. It is worth noting that the bathroom can only be accessed from the bedroom, so a third person using the fold-out sofa must go through the bedroom to reach the bathroom. This was not a problem for us. The bathroom/shower were excellent.
Although living space is tight with the the fold-out sofa opened up, the rental is clean, in excellent condition, and has good tv (in both rooms) and wifi. Also has a walk-in closet off the bedroom. I'd give it a solid 5 stars if not for the initial frustrating glitches upon our arrival.

Great location to restaurants and centre of town. Not even 2 minutes walk.
There is a seperate lounge area to the bedroom which is great. The balcony looks over the resturant which is next door but its a nice covered area but no view. Aircon and fans really helped with the heat. Compared to other rentals it is on the pricey side and there are others cheaper for same.. It is on the street with a cocktail bar across the road and with the resturant downstairs it can be noisy on the weekend so if you’re a light sleeper bring your ear plugs. The bedroom bed head wall was a bit dusty by the set of draws but otherwise the place was clean. Overall for us the benefits of everything at short notice to book outweighed the noise. - Anonymous, ,

Only complaint that is beyond their control obviously, is the noise from the train every morning at 5:40..if light sleeper beware and the partying with amplification from Poppy's bar on the square. We had a great weekend at this place. The unit was comfortable and clean and located right downtown. The downside of being right there is that it can be a little noisy on a Saturday night but all in all we slept just fine. My wife and I headed up to Paso for a nice romantic long weekend and after finding out our normal spot (Hotel Cheval) was booked we looked to VRBO and found this gem. The 1 bedroom was plenty spacious for the two of us and the interior decor and condition was top notch. We found it a little loud on Friday night as one of the restaurants across the street was blaring music until 2AM but didn't have any issues the following nights. This was the second time we have stayed at Park Place and have enjoyed it both times. The unit is clean and well appointed. The best part is the location. My wife and I love to frequent the stores and restaurants surrounding the park and you walk down the stairs and you are in the middle of it. This little gem is a great find. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The small bath was beautiful and the patio was very secluded. What a cute and comfortable place right in the heart of town.
Loved the location, right in the heart of town! Being on the top floor, we could hear the downtown action but our view was of green trees and blue sky. We had a great stay at the Park Place rental. It's tucked up in a very convenient location in downtown which was close to all of the shops and restaurants. The unit was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Surprisingly while it was street parking we never had a problem finding a good spot. Great location, cute place - has everything you need and more. The only complaint I have is the exterior lights did not work. It is pitch black once the below restaurant closes and the stairway is rickety. I informed the management company and they responded, but did not follow through - came back from a late night wedding and couldn't see a thing trying to get to the unit - extremely unsafe. My husband and I spent 3 nights at this apartment.
Pros: Location great for visiting area vineyards and restaurants within walking distance around the beautiful square, nice mini-kitchen and bath.
Cons: Very noisy at night which we didn't expect and had to sleep with ear plugs, rugs were stained and needed replacing, only chair in living area needed replacing. Coffee maker was dirty and still had grounds in it, leaked so we had to call for a new one which was delivered.
There was only an uncomfortable stool to use at the work table which was miserable as my husband and I had to spend time on the computer. No kitchen table, only TV trays. Sofa very uncomfortable.

If you want to stay in downtown Paso Robles, this is your place. Steps to restaurants and shopping. After a day of wine tasting, it is nice to relax a bit before walking to dinner instead of having to drive.
The apartment was clean, modern, and had just about everything we needed. We did not do any cooking, but you could easily make meals, although the kitchen is small.
The only negative aspects were parking and noise. We arrived on a Friday at 6:00 pm and had to park several blocks away (no designated parking for this property). Also, it was very noisy late Friday night with loud and drunk people leaving the bars. Early Saturday morning is garbage/dumpster/trash pick up in downtown, so we were awakened early with truck noise (squeaky breaks, back up beeping, etc.). Ear plugs are a must if you want to sleep in. Ideal Park Place
Park Place was an amazing place to stay. The location is unbeatable. You can see the downtown park right through the living room windows. And most restaurants and stores are within walking distance.
The place looks very new, with high end finishes and appliances to make your stay very pleasant and relaxing. The bed was luxurious and comfortable and so was the bathroom.
The place is big enough for four people. The sofa bed in the living room is equally comfortable - the best I've seen and tried in all my years of traveling.
This place also has a walk-in closet!
We didn't get to use the outside seating area, but what a treat to be enjoying your meals right above a French Bistro.

My husband and I had a nice "staycation" in Paso Robles for our 15 year wedding anniversary. We wanted to stay somewhere near downtown and the square, so we could walk around. Found this really nice studio/apartment and booked it based on the reviews. We loved it! It is very nicely appointed. Clean, great location, etc. We were able to walk to/from our dinners and get out for some early morning exercise around town. We were surprised at how loud the downtown area was until the wee hours of the morning. We also felt the apartment was a bit stuffy. It was probably in the mid 70's during the day, so not too warm. But we felt very warm inside. We had to have the air conditioning and ceiling fan on the entire time.
