Orchard Hill Farm sits on a hill overlooking 36 acres with amazing vineyard and countryside views. There are beautiful gardens, ancient oaks and fountains. The upstairs guest house over the carriage house is 1350 sq feet with 2 bedrooms each with their own balcony and bathroom. There is a comfortable living area between the 2 rooms with a kitchen, dining area, gas fireplace, seating area and a 3rd deck overlooking vineyards. The kitchen features a four-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and refrigerator, though no conventional oven. This gorgeous guesthouse is perfect for 2 to 4 guests. We were enchanted by the property decor, location, and amenities. Warm, cozy...well lit, well appointed, comfy rooms and living spaces with books, games and views! Three decks to soak in the countryside sights and sounds. Two incredible bedrooms with connected spacious bathrooms. Everything was clean, well kept, and easy to use (instructional provided). We had clear and consistent communication with the property manager. We really enjoyed all the spaces. The online descriptions are accurate and the experience of being in the rooms cannot be matched by the photographs. Perfectly Charming!
We enjoyed a three night stay in October with another couple. This is perfect location -- close to many wineries but off the road which allows for a peaceful and tranquil setting. The decor is beautiful and there is plenty of room in the kitchen and common area to cook, eat, and relax. Great service from the hosts was icing on the cake. Beautiful and Private Carriage House, Serene Setting
Great location for exploring West Paso, Adelaide, and Templeton wineries and a short drive to Cambria. Beautifully appointed carriage house in a serene setting. The bedrooms each have their own bath and are situated on opposite sides of the house making it great for privacy and traveling with others. We really enjoyed the three decks for morning coffee and stunning stargazing at night. Many bird visitors including owl, quail, and turkeys. The fresh-baked coffee cake was delicious. This was our first time using VRBO. Orchard Hill Farm is located on 30+ acres of rolling hills. We enjoyed sitting on each of the three balconies for breakfast or wine in the evening. Totally private and quiet. Close to several wineries. Only noises we heard were the birds. The welcoming coffee cake and bottle of wine pleasant surprises. Perfect Stay in Paso Robles
Orchard Hill Farm is a peaceful and quiet spot with beautiful views from every balcony. The accommodations are set up perfectly for two singles or two couples. We loved sitting on the balcony off the living room in the mornings and listening to the birds. We were back on the balcony at night to watch the night sky, including the milky way. This is our second stay this year at The Orchid Hill Farm house. We picked our sister in San Diego who came from Wisconsin and came to Paso. She fell in love with this place, just as we did just a few months ago. The place is so charming, tastefully decorated and sparkling clean. Wild life abounds. Deer, wild turkeys (a herd of several hundreds), counless gorgeous birds of all sizes and shapes. The farm is super quiet yet we are only a few minutes from downtown Paso. Sisters Birthday Celebration
We stayed at the Carriage House at Orchard Hill Farm. The house was absolutely beautiful! We had 3 decks to sit on and enjoy the amazing views. The house is in excellent condition and makes you feel like you are at home. My sister and I where celebrating our birthdays and enjoyed after a day of wine tasting to come home and cook a nice dinner, sit on the deck for the inviting views or hang in the living room and read or play a game (no TV in the living room which we loved. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing vacations in a beautiful home we have ever enjoyed.

A wonderful place to stay while in Paso Robles! We stayed in the two bedroom cottage. A beautiful view of wine country from any window or deck. The unit had everything we needed, including a grill, which we used every night. There are three decks with this unit, and the stars put on a spectacular show each night.

The Orchard Hill in was the perfect getaway destination for us in beautiful wine country on the iconic Vineyard Drive in the heart of West Paso Robles.
The guest house is cozy and everything was clean and modern. It lies on a beautiful crest looking out at the Denver Winery. Deb and Doug were super hosts and attentive to any questions or needs we had.
Nestled on a ridge - free range chickens greeted us on our arrival - and deer greeted us in the morning.
It was the perfect retreat in the countryside and centrally located to all that Paso has to offer.

The carriage house at Orchard Hill is a delightful get away from it all, and only 10 minutes from the fine dining and wines of Paso Robles. Comfortable bed, nice handy little kitchen. Well, between Paso Robles itself and this charming little hideaway to stay in, I can't imagine it getting much better. From someone who loved coming here and staying in the downtown square to be in close proximity to the food and energy, I must say, I have found Jesus again (metaphorically speaking). The Orchard Hill Farm is such a treasure, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The location was quite ideal or it's just a coincidence that many of my favorite wineries are along that same road (could be serendipity I suppose). It's such a lovely venue for two couples which is what we did with our dear friends and wine aficionados. The two bedroom suites are situated on opposite sides of the cottage and have their own bathrooms with a perfect kitchen and living room in between. Everything was quite comfortable and in good working order. The stars indulged us in the evening as we sat outside and BBQed our dinner listening to a playlist I titled 'slightly edgy cab' - it came to me literally as I gazed at the night sky while Joe Jackson asked if I felt like trying something new....ahhh moments. Seriously you wine loving, utterly civilized, grateful grape enthusiasts, you ought to give up your hotel room for a weekend and head for the hills, or specifically, this hill and just let your heart melt away at the simple pleasures in life....the vegetable garden in the front....stop...the rafter of turkeys on the slope below....stop!....the starry night sky (yes it deserves a second mention)....stop!! and the accommodating and friendly proprietor reclining on her porch, is that a mint julep?...I can't even. It's just a hidden gem, and now you're in the know...isn't it great getting the inside scoop and it exceeds your expectations...or it will when you get there. Beautiful Oasis
Beautiful and charming, are just have the words to describe this property. Nestled away in the hills of Paso Robles it was a great rest and restorative retreat for two days. Wish I could’ve stayed for longer. The innkeeper‘s were great very welcoming and gave wonderful recommendations and allowed us to pick vegetables and fruit from their garden and orchard. I hope to come back soon and stay longer and maybe bring a few more people. Debbie and Doug were warm and gracious hosts, thinking of every last detail to make our stay wonderful including fresh coffee beans, a grinder, half and half and an absolutely divine coffee cake.
The farmhouse was cozy and had balconies on three sides where we could enjoy the beautiful countryside, sunrises, sunsets and stars.
It is off the path enough that it is so peaceful and quiet, but not so far that you don't have access to wineries and Trader Joe's.
We will be back for sure!

We met up with friends at Orchard Hill Farm for another great stay in their two-bedroom Carriage House for a couple of days. It's in a beautiful hilltop setting, with great views in all directions. The two bedrooms and the living rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen area. A lovely home-made cake and a bottle of very excellent red wine are waiting to greet your arrival. We have stayed at a number of Inns like Orchard Hill and this one is the best for many reasons----peaceful, quite location with beautiful views of the countryside; perfect accomendations for two coulpes in the Carriage House with seperate, comfortable bedrooms--both with viewing decks; a common area kitchen/living room/dining room great for breakfast and later for conversation after a day of wine tasting; and the owners (Doug and Debbie) are so attentive; helpful with winery/restaurant ideas; and fun to talk to. I could have talked to Doug for hours about his place, college football, and current Paso news. Very good people and a great place to stay with short drives to wineries and restaurants in downtown Paso and Templeton. What a wonderful treat while in Paso...
Two couples stayed in the carriage house, and enjoyed the charming warmth of Orchard Hill Farm for 3 days while visiting for wine tasting in the area. The views from the balconies are spectacular overlooking the property and neighboring vineyards in the distance.
We have stayed here before when the entry road was gravel, and now it is beautifully paved blacktop! No more mud in the winter!

Great stay in the Paso hills
We enjoyed a wonderful 3 days and nights in the Paso Robles wine country. This cottage is in the country but close to wineries, downtown Paso and other attractions like Hearst Castle. Wineries are literally across the street. It was perfect for us. The cottage has 2 master suites so it is ideal for 2 couples. Views from the 3 decks of the surrounding hills is spectacular. The owners of the property (who no longer manage it) live on site in the big house and are very helpful with restaurant and winery recommendations (they have tasting coupons for some). They even provided us charcoal and lighter fluid for the BBQ. Bedrooms are good size and the bathrooms are also large. The living area is plenty big for 4 people with a nice gas fireplace. The cottage has air conditioning but we didn't need it and that would definitely be a plus for summer in Paso. We cooked several meals in. Kitchen counter space is a little light and there is no dishwasher. There is a stove but no built-in oven. We didn't find the counter top toaster-oven which is stored in a cupboard until we were cleaning up the last day.
