A Blue Sea Castle Monthly Vacation Rental Only

My wife and I have enjoyed our second stay at this house in the Marine Terrace area of Cambria. It’s a clean and comfortable place with nice views of the ocean and neighboring ranch preserve which is great for walks. The garage is not available for guests to use, but that wasn’t a problem for us. However, you have to be careful backing out of the driveway because the neighbors motor home sticks out into the street a bit. So overall it’s a nice property.

This was the cleanest house we’ve ever rented in the Cambria area. The furnishings and appliances were great. We like to cook and barbecue and enjoyed preparing our meals here. We did have to provide all spices etc., but that wasn’t a problem. I would suggest that a few of the nonstick pans be replaced as the coating is wearing off. A couple reviews mentioned that ants were a problem. We noticed them starting to appear after a few days so we put some ant bait traps out and after a couple days the ants were gone. This home is in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the ocean and a nice ranch preserve for walking. Evening sunsets over the ocean were lovely, as were the many deer in the neighborhood. Also nice to have the use of the garage. Scenic Coast Property Management were very helpful with any questions we had, and even lent us a reading lamp for our stay. We love this area mainly for daily walks along the beaches, bluffs, and ranch roads. Such a beautiful area and we’ve already reserved this home for a return visit next year.

It was wonderful to stay in this home. It is newly remodeled and very tastefully done. The beds and linens are very comfortable (especially the king downstairs). It has all of the amenities one would need for a month long stay. The location is perfection. We had visits from wildlife every day. We hope to be able to stay there again!

Home was clean and comfortable. Excellent location, with ocean view and beach access a block away. The only irritation was ants in the master bedroom right next to my side of the bed. Ants on the bed, and the sofa, and my clothes (before I realized there were ants). Property mgmt co was responsive, and had ant bait for us to pick up. The bait did work after the 2nd day, but the ants were back on day 6, thankfully not on the bed. It would be 5 stars if there were no ants ;)

The home is so inviting and relaxing, I will definitely return.

It was the perfect location for the occasion, closed enough to the beach, downtown, SLO, Cayucos, etc. Will definitively come back again.

I stayed at the Blue Sea Castle for a week to work on my dissertation. I needed a place to retreat, reflect and write. The house was perfect for doing just that. the open layout on the second floor living space, with all the windows allowed the natural light,and ocean breeze to wash over the space. The view of the ocean was wonderful. The location was perfect, when I needed breaks, I could walk around the quiet neighborhood or walk along the bluff and alwyas returned to my writing inspired.

The property, fixtures and appliances are dated, but clean and functional. The blinds need some attention. I cooked every day I was there and had everything I needed to do so. You definitely need to bring your own spices, oil etc. but everything else to cook with was available.
One suggestion would be to have streaming apps on yhe main tv as well as the one in the smaller bedroom. But I didn't watch tv so it wasn't a problem. Also, the natural environment around the home was beautiful. Even saw deer several times!
The fireplace in the bedroom is a nice touch.
The management company was very helpful and responsive throughout the process.
I would definitely return.

We come here every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We usually come with family but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was just my husband and I. We love this house. The proximity to the ocean and walking trails is perfect. It was a little lonely this year without our granddaughter as she loves to walk with us on the trails. We look forward to next year with her and the long walks and the beautiful sunsets we can see from our balcony.

I rented this house for a family reunion/Christmas celebrations. It was perfect for three couples. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and the dining room table expanded to fit 8 and 10 people for the holiday feasts. Perfectly located close to the beach and Fiscalani Ranch Reserve, which allowed for daily walking and/or running on trails and tidepooling.

We had a party of 5 people,all of whom were very comfortable with the accommodations. It was a wonderful location, easy to access wonderful walks, or go to restaurants or wineries. It was just a short ride up to San Simeon to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seals. One comment is that is that it would be nice to have a 5th/6th chair for the dining room table. We all thought it was wonderful. Rental agents were great.

This is a very beautiful house. There are many windows which gives the entire house a feel of openness and brightness. Also, an excellent location.

The house was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equpped. The layout was perfect for two couples with 2 king beds on different floors, which provided a lot of privacy. Location near Fiscalini Ranch was perfect. Unfortunately, the weather was not, but still enjoyed ourselves

Excellent. The only thing that was missing was a 9 by 13 baking pan in the kitchen.

Blue Castle is clean, nice space and layout, kitchen is furnished for cooking, good location within waling distance of trails and beach access. Nice neighborhood. We were very comfortable and very much enoyed our visit.

We were there beg of Aug 2018 with our 4 kids. The village is very quiet and the beds are very comfy, you can also see deers in the gardens. The people at Scenic Coast Mgt were helpful. The Tvs were a bit old but the house was very clean. We spent most of our time walking on the shore and on the trail in the nearby park/reserve teemed with squirrels and colourful plants. We could feel the nice salty breeze from the sea while watching the wonderful sunsets. Very easy check-in/check-out.

The house is as described. Very clean.. views of the oceans from small front deck are amazing. The front deck is small and at most fits three people. Back deck has gas BBQ and larger table. Kitchen well stocked with basic cooking utensils. Linens and beds are comfy. Nice big towels in bathroom.
TVs upstairs ( in living room and master bedroom) have cable.. although funky to use but there are directions in the information book. The TV in the bedroom downstairs only streams and for me that was a disappointment. The third bedroom downstairs has no TV.
Neighborhood is quite and you can hear the waves from the ocean. We were fortunate enough to see some whales. We wished that we had taken binoculars.
Location is two blocks from Fiscalini Ranch and a short drive to downtown and Moonstone Beach.

We couldnt have been happier with our first VRBO experience. The Blue Sea Castle was perfect. It was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen including outside deck w/ BBQ. We had most of our meals at the house but always enjoy the Bayside Cafe in Morro Bay for lunch. The location of this rental was a bonus w/ access to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve within walking distance in the neighborhood. The ocean view from the house was another bonus. Another side trip to nearby Harmony was fun and quaint. Hearst Castle was amazing. We would definitely recommend this property.

This was a beautiful place, with views of the ocean and sunset from the living room and balconies. It is a few blocks away from Fiscalini Reserve, which has a spectacular Bluff Trail above the ocean, with paths leading down to tidal pools. Absolutely loved this place.

We got married the weekend we stayed in this perfect home with my family. We all loved it. It was perfect and we plan on making this a yearly family vacation. We love Cambria and this home made it ideal with its close proximity to the ocean. We could hear the surf at night. It had everything we needed even a rainbow.

Clear,spacious, cosy place in very silent part of the City. We really enjoy our few days stay. Just a small remark ; it would be great if some sun beds are available to enjoy great California wheather on the tarrace.

This was our 4th rental in Cambria and one of the best. The house is well maintained and in a great location. I liked the garage access as I always bring my mountain bike for exploring Fiscalini Ranch. One small complaint: The living room sofa and chair look nice but are not very comfortable.

We have stayed in this beautiful home 2 times now! We love the house!! We love taking walks and seeing the deer!! I would say some of the dinnerware need to be replaced. Getting very chipped up.

We had a wonderful time in this home that is just a couple of short blocks from the ocean and the ranch walk. A family of deer greeted us in the yard when we arrived! Also, I would highly recommend Scenic Coast Property Management. We have been renting homes in Cambria for many years but we have never used this company before. They were most accomadating!

Second stay at this residence. Property description is accurate, house is clean and well-maintained, and property management provided excellent customer service. House is walking distance to Fiscalini Ranch and tide pools. The Cafe on Bridge Street is a must for sandwiches - get them to go and have a picnic on Moonstone Beach, or enjoy the quaint patio. Plenty to see and do in area (San Simeon, Cayucos, Montana de Oro State Park, Piedras Blancas Lighthouse), as well as just relax. Highly recommend!

Comfortable furniture and beds. Loved the wonderful fireplace. View is great. Very nice decor. However only 2 hand towels in master bathroom and no extra paper towels. Kitchen cabinets could use some cleaning.

The kitchen was fully equipped with all quality things we needed.?? Loved the amount of space in all the areas. The only thing that would cause us pause to return is the living room furniture (very important space ) was so uncomfortable. Brand new and looked nice but not very suitable for comfort. ??

The Blue Sea Castle is a great home to rent. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen. Will look at renting it again.
