Description
With four bedroom plus Den/Game Room and three baths, this 3,000 square foot single-level home offers panoramic views overlooking the South end of Lake San Antonio. The great room (living room, dining and large kitchen) boasting forever views. With a huge rock gas fireplace and the dining room, and the kitchen showcases a large island offering additional eating at the counter. The kitchen is amazing and has all the kitchenware and tools for the chef. Also included is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. DirecTV is offered, and the home has access to internet WIFI. BBQ station for cooking and entertainment, and plenty of outdoor seating. The lounging furniture is perfect to relax and have a beverage while watching sunsets or viewing the lake. Once outside you can play some Cornhole, Ladder Toss, Ring Toss, Basketball and Darts. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit for a dip in the Hot Tub. You can also enjoy the theater/game room with flat screen TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and plenty of movies and games for everyone to enjoy. Make sure to keep your eyes open for the myriad wildlife, including wild turkeys, deer, birds, rabbits, squirrels and other animals, who love to visit.***Five Star Coffee Program- We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, coffee pods, cream, and sugar for our provided drip and pod-style coffee makers onsite at every home. ***Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Country Delight
Son graduated from CalPoly SLO. The J's nest was the perfect location to have family and friends unite to celebrate his achievement. The property was clean and well-maintained. The layout provided plenty space for everyone. Sitting on porch watching the sunrise over the rolling hills was breath taking. The wildlife around the property was amazing. We enjoyed our stay at the J's nest and would recommend this property to friend or relative.

Family Getaway
This was the perfect house for our family getaway. There was plenty of games available and things to do on the property. Everyone had an amazing time and were sad when it ended, especially the children. Slight issue with ants sneaking into the restrooms but not a big deal. Great home - peaceful, quiet and wonderful. 4.4 out of 5 stars.
We were a family of 10 visiting from the Bay area. We chose the weekend before Thanksgiving in 2020 to visit.
Before arrival:
We had a very good experience working with the concierge on property cleanliness and sanitization. They assured no one was there 48 hours before us and every door handle would be wiped down with Hydrogen peroxide.
The check-in process was smooth. Online and app based information was really helpful.
Stay:
When we reached the property we found it in great condition. The kids play room had a few chips and candy under the sofa and on the table. This was not desirable. Down (-0.5), 4.5 out of 5 so far. Although it is fixable and probably an oversight by the cleaning crew, in COVID season this is probably not acceptable.
The porch and play areas were nice and clean. The swing and hot tub were very enjoyable. The table tennis and toss games fun.
Rooms were clean and very neat even though we took our own linen and pillows to avoid contact. Kitchen was gorgeous, great to cook for a large group. (-0.1) Internet was weak if you are into seriously working and video conferencing. It wasn't a problem for us to do light work, streaming. Small ding brings it to 4.4 out of 5 so far.
We enjoyed Lake San Antonio and Lake Nascimento which were <15 mins away. We saw deer in our front door, played basketball every day of our stay. Very very fun.

Nice getaway
We are two families, total of 9 people, who've been in a 'pandemic bubble' since July. The home was extremely comfortable and well-stocked with kitchen gear. Everyone loved the hot tub. We explored Lake San Antonio and hiked at Lake Nacimiento. We did day trips to the beach and to Paso Robles to walk around. Ideal for Gathering of Family or Friends
The J's Nest was a great house for our annual get together of childhood friends and their kids. The house was nice, clean, and had plenty of space for the 12 of us. The house is a bit remote, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet and great views. Between the hot tub and all the games the house provides, there was plenty to do at the J's Nest, and we spent most of the weekend just enjoying the house. We had a mini reunion of old grad school buddies and their kids - meeting in the middle between LA and SF. It was perfection. It had a great kitchen with everything you could possibly need for cooking nice big meals together, the outdoor space was perfect with lots of seating areas and tons of activities. This was a perfect home for our family. The 2- master suites was perfect for 2 families with babies! The "Great Room" gave us plenty of room to eat, and socialize. There is a "Kid-Cave" -can be an additional sleep space was a perfect addition. Check-in and Checkout was easy. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner - the owners made an exception to the maximum number at the home. The kitchen was well stocked! plenty of towels for everyone! Holiday in the Hills
Place is great for friends and family to come together and spend time together in the middle of no where. Other than one close neighbor that gave us zero trouble, we had the whole Moutan top to ourselves and enjoyed every moment. Amazing house to relax and get away
This house was amazing. It had all the amenities. Chargers in every room. Enough space to sit back and relax. Great views. The only issue I had was we had 4 kids ages 1-6 and there were a lot of black widow spiders on the black patio that started to come out when the sun started going down, so we had to kill a couple of them just in case the kids put there hands where they shouldn't. During the night we saw some deer come right up to the patio windows and the kids loved it. Few tarantulas that the kids also enjoyed. Overall would definitely recommend.
