Kristen Carlson

Kristen Carlson is the Director of Sales for Visit SLO CAL (VSC), the destination marketing and management organization for San Luis Obispo County (SLO CAL). Kristen joined Visit SLO CAL in 2022 and leads the expansion of international leisure and conference sales for the destination. 

Kristen brings a wealth of expertise in sales and hospitality to her role, enriching her ability to highlight the unique experiences SLO CAL offers. With a robust background in corporate group sales garnered from Hilton and Marriott Hotels, Kristen excels in cultivating strong client relationships and driving business development initiatives. 

As an alumna of California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, her degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration fuels her passion for promoting SLO CAL to visitors, leveraging her deep understanding of the region's attractions and community dynamics.
