It's official, outdoor dining is now in! Outdoor dining has never felt better as many communities have expanded their seating options to help maintain social distancing while you enjoy your favorite pizzeria, BBQ joint or café.

No matter the community you're strolling through, you're sure to find plenty of restaurants offering outdoor dining experiences, ensuring you can cure your appetite while enjoying SLO CAL's fabulous weather. San Luis Obispo has added new parklets to section off traffic while allowing customers to enjoy their meals in the fresh air. From Sidecar Cocktail Co. to Finney's Crafthouse and Taste Eatery, you'll love the new extended dining. Many of these parklets are in the place of street parking or parking lots, so, if dining downtown, we recommend finding a spot in a parking structure and walking if street parking is unavailable. Just don't forget to wear your face covering as you're strolling through SLO CAL.

Meanwhile, Paso Robles is offering the ability to dine, wine and catch up with friends in Paso's iconic Downtown City Park. Thursday through Sunday, you can grab takeout from one of Paso's delicious restaurants and reserve one of the many tables in the park's dining section. A concierge will guide you to a sanitized table, safely distanced from other diners.

Many restaurants have expanded to outdoor dining but we recommend calling ahead of time. Whether you're looking for the outdoor dining experience, or prefer to take dinner to-go and watch the sunset along the shore or above the clouds, SLO CAL restaurants are working hard to help keep you safe. As you support local restaurants, please continue to practice safe social distancing and wear a face covering.
