San Simeon Point Trail
750 Hearst Castle Road, San Simeon

Access to the trail is on the north end of William R. Hearst Memorial State Beach (aka San Simeon Cove). Follow the dirt path up the hillside and follow it along the bluff side to the point. Continue on to find a forest of old eucalyptus trees.

San Carpoforo Creek Trail
18625 CA-1, San Simeon

South of Ragged Point, this creek is often considered the southern boundary of Big Sur—a true gateway of sorts. A short hike, that follows the creek, leads to the beach.
