Celebrating the Impact of Women in the Food and Beverage Industry
~ Save The Date: March 1 – 10, 2024 ~

At Her Table provides a spotlight for women and women co-owned businesses with ten days of activities throughout SLO CAL (San Luis Obispo County). These activities include markets, food specials and ticketed events. Just like the female talent At Her Table celebrates, this event is a uniquely SLO CAL experience crafted by local culinary leaders.

About At Her Table

This far-reaching event is made up of many coordinated events happening across the county. Some events require tickets, some are free and open to the public and some are running continuously – allowing you to participate whenever is convenient for you. And you don’t have to be women-identifying to get involved, everyone is welcome to join. The type of events and topics cover the culinary gambit from cocktails and wine releases to special menu items and pre-fixe coursed meals.

Women History Month in SLO CAL

Founder Michelle Barrera shared that “The thing that I love most about what I do is uniting this community.” In alignment with International Women’s Day on March 8th and Women’s History Month in March, this event makes it easy to support women lead businesses throughout San Luis Obispo County.

SLO CAL boasts a bounty of flavors from year-round fresh ingredients. The Mediterranean climate, rolling hills and rich soil provide the peak in raw materials for restaurants, wineries and more to create flavors defined by the region’s harvest. Pair that with the local ingenuity and creativity of the chefs, wine makers and proprietors for a truly SLO CAL experience during the At Her Table event and beyond.

Founder: Michelle Barrera

Michelle Barrera of Enjoy SLO/At Her TableBefore moving to SLO CAL, Michelle worked as a register nurse in Los Angles. Fun fact: she also has experience throwing raves. And while trying to find event information, to get acquainted with her new home, she discovered that there was a need for more event resources in San Luis Obispo County. Michelle started her website and social media pages Enjoy SLO and has been creating and promoting events ever since. During the planning stage of one of her projects, Michelle met with co-founder of LA’s Re:her and was so inspired by that conversation that she decided to start a women’s organization in SLO CAL. At Her table was born.
